I started an e-commerce website for my new shop selling my homemade lip balms, and I started the site in a sub directory of my hosting account (which is called public_html) like all of my other sites. We're flying on Southwest and the flight attendant just sang a version of "The Ants Go Marching" that was about "the passengers go boarding one by one" encouraging us to board faster. It was hilarious because it was so unexpected. She got applause ( Read more... )

Today I took Dominic to get his learner's permit. It took about half an hour or 45 minutes... not too bad for the RMV. Our number was C334... coincidentally, our number at Burger King just now was 334 as well. Spooky.

We are on our way to New Hampshire for the weekend to go to the highland games.

Friday we drove back to Atlanta from Athens. We stoppd to chat with a friend who works at a Lamborgini drealership and hung out there for a while. Then we headed to Dan's mom's house to water the plants for her and firm up our evening plans.

Wednesday night I slept really late, like until 3:30 or 4pm. I was just waking up when Dan came in to take an afternoon nap. I decided to stay in and read while he slept because I didn't want to go in the pool and have to deal with drying my hair, and I didn't want to be hot either.

Our plane landed 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, but that didn't really affect when we got on the road because Dan's dad wasn't there yet. Anyway, we are on our way to Montgomery, Alabama to stay the night, then we'll drive the rest of the way to Mobile tomorrow to catch the ship.
